What Are Keywords?
Keywords allow your visitors or guests to join your text messaging list by texting a word (usually something to do with your business or a promotion) to our “short code”. The process is very easy.. IN fact, try it yourself – text the keyword BASHFOO to the shortcode of 33938. When a customer texts your keyword to our unique “short code” we’ll send your customized auto-response and we’ll add that person to your text messaging list. After they have opted into your SMS text messaging list, you can ask them to participate in your special offers and deals.
What Qualifies as a Sent Message?
Each text is equivalent to one message to one phone number. So, if you were to send a message to 10 people, it would count as 10 texts. You will also be generating opt-In messages, confirmation requests and STOP responses which will also count toward your Outbound message totals.
Do you need a larger plan?
Not a problem. We can construct a plan that works for you. Many of our clients use our services during “show season” when they are busily collecting leads, and then scale back later. We now (as of 12/1/2011) feature the ability to mass import your SMS numbers into the system and then automatically send out the opt-in message to those contacts. If none of our solutions meets your needs, please give us a call at 478-227-4366 and we’ll custom build a plan for your organization. Our largest client sends out 200,000 text messages a month. Now that is some serious communication!
Free Incoming Messages
We do not charge you for incoming messages. When would your business receive incoming messages? When someone wants to join your SMS messaging list, they will text your Keyword to 33938. They also can respond to any message that you send them. Need to build your email list? Ask them to provide their email address to you.
